About the 11th Class examination
The HSSC Part-1 (11th Class / 1st Year) examination is conducted every year by the nine Boards of Intermediate and Secondary Education across Punjab, along with the Federal Board in Islamabad. Students commonly refer to it as HSSC Part 1, 1st Year, Inter Part 1, FA FSc Part 1.
Results for all Punjab boards are declared on the same day and at the same hour under a unified schedule. For 2026, the 11th Class annual result is scheduled for 22 August 2026. Position holders are announced one day earlier, with separate rankings for Science and Humanities groups.
Candidates appear as either regular or private students. Regular candidates are enrolled with an affiliated institution which submits their admission forms and registration details to the board. Private candidates apply directly to the board and appear at designated centres. Both categories receive the same result format and the same certificate on completion.
On punjabresults.pk you can check your result instantly by roll number. We prepare and index the result data in advance and serve it from a global content delivery network, so your result loads in under a second even when millions of students are checking at the same moment. You can also browse the full list of Punjab and Federal board results from our home page.
How to check your 11th Class result
The quickest route is the roll number search on punjabresults.pk. Follow these steps.
1. Select your board
Choose your board from the dropdown in the search box on punjabresults.pk, or open your board's dedicated page from the list below.
2. Select the examination session
Choose the session you appeared in, for example Annual 2026 or a supplementary session from a previous year.
3. Enter your roll number
Type your examination roll number exactly as printed on your roll number slip. Do not add spaces or letters.
4. Complete the verification and submit
Complete the quick verification check and press Check Result. Your name, obtained marks, total marks and percentage appear within a second.
5. Save or share your result card
If you have passed, a shareable result card is generated automatically. You can download it or share it directly to WhatsApp.
If you have no internet access, send only your roll number by SMS to your board's short code. You can also visit the board's own portal, although official servers usually slow down in the first hours after the announcement. That is exactly why punjabresults.pk keeps a pre-indexed copy that loads instantly.
Subjects and examination structure
At the intermediate level, candidates study compulsory subjects together with the electives of their chosen group. Compulsory subjects include English, Urdu, Islamiat or Ethics and Pakistan Studies, distributed across the two parts of the course.
Pre-Medical students take Physics, Chemistry and Biology. Pre-Engineering students take Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. ICS students take Computer Science with Mathematics and either Physics or Statistics. I.Com students take Principles of Accounting, Principles of Economics, Principles of Commerce, Business Mathematics and Banking. FA students select from Civics, Education, Psychology, Sociology, Islamic Studies, Arabic, Fine Arts and Health and Physical Education.
Science subjects include a practical component conducted at designated centres, and those marks count towards the subject total. Candidates must clear both the theory and practical portions to pass the subject.
Grading system
The same grading scale applies to all Punjab boards for regular and private candidates. PunjabResults.pk calculates your percentage automatically the moment your result appears.
A candidate scoring below 33 percent in any subject is recorded as failed in that subject and may reappear in the supplementary examination. Candidates who do not appear are recorded as absent, and those whose result is under review are recorded as withheld.
After the 11th Class result
Intermediate students move on to university admissions and professional degree programmes. Medical and dental admissions require the national entry test, engineering admissions require the relevant entry test, and most universities conduct their own admission tests for other programmes.
Merit for professional programmes is usually calculated from a weighted combination of matric marks, intermediate marks and entry test score. If you need your earlier marks, the 10th class result is also available on punjabresults.pk.
Collect your Detailed Marks Certificate and, once issued, your intermediate certificate from the board. Universities require attested copies of both at admission.
