FBISE Islamabad 10th Class Result 2026

FBISE Islamabad was established in 1975 and conducts the Secondary School Certificate and Higher Secondary School Certificate examinations for students across Islamabad, Cantonment Areas, Overseas Pakistani Schools. Every year thousands of candidates from affiliated schools and colleges sit the annual examinations conducted by this board.

The board registers candidates, issues roll number slips, conducts examinations at designated centres, marks answer scripts, compiles results and issues certificates. It also handles rechecking applications, corrections to candidate records and the affiliation of educational institutions within its jurisdiction. Its official website is fbise.edu.pk.

The 10th Class result, formally known as the SSC Part-2 (10th Class / Matric) result, is one of the most awaited announcements for students in this region. Marks obtained at this stage directly affect admission opportunities for the next academic level. At the secondary level, candidates study a set of compulsory subjects along with a group of elective subjects. The compulsory subjects include Urdu, English, Islamiat or Ethics, and Pakistan Studies. Elective subjects depend on the group chosen at the time of admission.

Students in the Science group take Physics, Chemistry, and either Biology or Computer Science, along with Mathematics. Students in the Arts or General group choose from subjects such as General Science, General Mathematics, Civics, Economics, Islamic Studies (Elective), Home Economics, Arabic, Fine Arts, Health and Physical Education and Computer Science.

Science subjects carry both theory and practical components. The practical examination is conducted separately at designated centres and its marks are added to the subject total. Candidates must clear both the theory and the practical portion of a science subject.

If your marks do not match your expectations, you can apply for rechecking. It is important to understand what rechecking covers. The board verifies that every question has been marked, that no portion of the answer script was left unassessed, and that the totals have been added correctly. Answers are not re-evaluated or marked afresh.

Applications are submitted online through the board's e-services portal at fbise.edu.pk, usually within fifteen days of the official announcement. A prescribed fee applies for each subject, and the fee is not refunded if no change is found. If an error is discovered, the board issues a corrected result and a revised Detailed Marks Certificate.

Keep a copy of your application and payment receipt until the outcome is communicated. Once the corrected result is issued, you can verify the updated marks again on punjabresults.pk.

FBISE Islamabad announces its top position holders one day before the general result is declared, following the schedule issued by the Punjab Boards Committee of Chairmen. Separate rankings are published for the Science group and the Humanities group, each covering the first, second and third positions.

Position holders are invited to a prize distribution ceremony held at the board auditorium. Certificates, medals and cash prizes are awarded. Students who score highly can generate a shareable result card on punjabresults.pk carrying their name, marks and percentage.
